#8   What do I do to get the "Drive Pin Holes" I my back plate?

We have information on almost every R/C engine on the market today and for only a few bucks you can get this work done when you order your spinner.  You might not want to hear this but the BestWay to get this done is to let us do it for you.  We are not saying you can't do it, we are saying we want it done correctly, and if you don't have the correct tools it won't be right.

You already have the spinner and now you don't know how to get the modifications done?  As long as it is a Tru-Turn Product, we will be glad to modify it for you, new or used.  We have had spinners that are several years old sent back for modifications. Sometimes these modifications are for larger engines and sometimes smaller, it doesn't matter, we can do it for you.

Unfortunately we do not know what someone is going to do with a Spinner when they purchase it but most of the time we know what engine a particular adapter is going to be used for.  This will explain the "Note" you found in your Tru-Turn Adapter Kit. If, in fact, you finds out that your Backing Plate needs modification we will try to help you.

Modifications Rule #1:  If it is not done correctly you will have problems with your spinner.  The Drive Pin Holes must be exactly 180 apart, the correct size and on the proper Bolt Circle.

Modification Rule #2:   Never make the holes for the drive pins tight, they are not intended to locate the Spinner Back Plate.  Drill them approximately double the pin size and let the crankshaft do the alignment work.
