No, that is not a good idea, not with any product!  We go to a lot of trouble to make your spinner and adapter as Safe and Easy to use as we possibly know how.  If you modify or mix brands of equipment we can not be responsible for the incurring problems.  Besides all of that, our Free Labor (Customer Service) is out the window for you.  Why would you want to throw away something that is Free?

We make an adapter kit to fit every production engine in the R/C market today and we will make one for tomorrows new products also, so why would you want to use something else?  You know what you are getting when you call us and we will make sure it is correct when you get it.  If it's not right we have Customer Service and not all of them can say this.

We even make a special screw, it is a Grade 8.8 Chrome Molly screw that is Plated and Oven Baked for the Silver finish and for your safety.  There is nothing on a Tru-Turn Spinner that is Store Bought, nothing!  We have gone to a lot of trouble to make sure you are getting the best of everything, we do it right here, so that we can control the Quality of the Finished Product for your Safety.

Go to your Hobby Shop and demand Tru-Turn Brand products, if they don't have them, call us, we will ship you the parts you need. "Fast"
