Can you "Straighten" my crankshaft?
This question had been
asked so many time and for the life of us we can't figure
out why. Our best guess is that the spinner mounts
on the crankshaft so we are associated with the shaft.
NO
We do not
do engine work, especially straightening crankshafts,
this is a very difficult thing to do. It is what
we call an Iffy Science at best and not for the faint
hearted. You can work all afternoon on one and
never get it right and then the next one just falls
into place on the first or second try. And, of
coarse, the third one breaks in half when you bend it.
We are a Computer Driven
CNC machine shop and we think it best that we do what
we do, which is precision machine work. We think
it best to let the mechanics do what ever it is they
do to make those things Un-Bend! (I do!)
Our best suggestion would
be to go to the manufacturer of that particular engine
and see what they can do for you.

Thanks
for shopping the TRU-TURN Website.
